Laying down some rough ideas

Last night we worked really late on guitar parts and structuring my songs.  The guitars are sounding amazing.  We’re coming up with some really out of the box progressions and compelling melodies.  They’re really making my vocal melodies pop out.  Yesterday, we were putting down guitar parts with a limited edition Les Paul (they only made a couple hundred) through a custom 15 watt tube amp that sounds like a cross between a Marshall and a Boogie amp.  Today we’re going to continue to work on guitar parts trying out some different amps to add more texture.

Well I wanted to sleep in this morning, but my body is so used to waking up at 9am that I couldn’t.  My internal alarm clock is loud!  I guess that’s a good thing.  That means I can go for another jog by the river.
