    Me Recording Pat on Guitars

    Yesterday we finished tracking the main guitars!  In addition to the custom 15 watt amp we were using earlier in the week, we also used the Vox AC-30 with a Telefunken preamp tube.  This is a very British sound and in fact, the same kind of amp the Beatles used.  It really helped make the guitars pop.  We also used the Marshall JCM 900.  It’s origin is British as well and was made popular by Jimi Hendrix.  The guitars are really sounding amazing and I can’t wait to start perfecting the drums today!
